A panel discussion about homelessness in the Grand Forks – East Grand Forks communities.

Moderated by Jessica Thomasson of the Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota, the discussion features the voices of Troy, a man experiencing homelessness at the time of the recording, Sue Shriek, Executive Director of the Northlands Rescue Mission, Dr. George Connell, Professor of Philosophy at Concordia University, and Lori Borschat, volunteer at the Lake Region Community Shelter in Devils Lake, North Dakota.

This discussion took place in Bismarck at the Empire Arts Center on January 19, 2019. The panel discussion was funded in part through the generosity of Humanities North Dakota, a nonprofit, independent state partner of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
