Under Dark Skies
MICHAEL RED FOX
I was born under a bad sign
Under a bad name
Under a bridge with the other
desperados with no names
We smoke and drink like that
highline train rolling by
I’m ready to go anywhere
I’m ready to partake
there’s a slow train rolling by
and my hour is getting late
I was born under thunder and lightning
under dark clouds
Walking in the rain feelin no pain
I smoke and drink coffee like that
twisted addict sitting on the hill
I’m ready to go anywhere
I’m ready to partake
there’s a slow moving train
and my hour is getting late
I was born under a porch
under disquise with all the other
homeless and motherless mutts
with hunger in their eyes
Yeah! I’m ready to go anywhere
I’m ready to partake
There’s a slow train a coming
and my hour si getting late
I’m going goin gone
I’m ready to make my escape.
