Chapter Two of “Home” to premiere online in February

Chapter Two of Home. The Homelessness Crisis in North Dakota will premiere online Tuesday, February 11th at 6:00 p.m. CST. The episode will be made avilable for viewing on the Human Family’s website. A special watch party will also take place on the series’  Facebook profile.

Chapter Two of Home: The Homelessness Crisis in North Dakota explores North Dakota’s “bootstrap” mentality, deadly winter weather systems and the impact of the oil boom in the western half of the state.

The episode features the lived experience of Troy Pryor, and features homeless advocates from around the state, including: Pastor Barb Becker, Glory of the Lord Ministries, Watford City; Kate Brovold, Austin’s Mission, Bismarck; Jenna Gullo, Missouri Slope Areawide United Way, Bismarck; Louis McLeod, Minot Area Homeless Coaltion, Minot; and Sue Shriek, Northlands Rescue Mission, Grand Forks.

Home: The Homelessness Crisis in North Dakota is presented by Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota and the Fargo-Moorhead Coalition to End Homelessness, and made possible by The Consensus Council, Bell Bank, Fargo Housing & Redevelopment Authority, Family Health Care and the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition.
