The Fargo-Moorhead LGBT Film Festival is excited to announce the scholarship recipient to Faraz Ansari’s Screenplay Writing Workshop for Storytellers with Special Focus on Queer Cinema.
North Dakota resident Linae Enockson Bieber was selected to particpate in Faraz’s 5-part online workshop.
Linae is a 54-year-old bisexual queer cis-gendered female and grandmother to a four year old bright spirit. She is a trained studio artist with a background in sculpture and dance, and has a long work relationship with video production. Through her work, she is interested in telling stories that open up possibilities and address the inequities in our current world.

Faraz Ansari is an award-winning filmmaker who’s film “Sisak” was awarded Best Narrative Short in the 2017 FMLGBT Film Festival. “Sisak,” India’s first silent LGBT film, would go on to recieve over 50 international awards from around the world.
The workshop will be spread over 5 online sessions between Saturday, September 5th to Monday, September 14th.
