Early bird submissions are currently being accepted for the fifth season of the North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival.
The festival encourages filmmakers from around the world who have produced documentary, narrative, animated or experimental films that engage human rights related topics or themes to submit their work to the festival.
Early bird submissions will be accepted through Friday, April 30, 2021. The final deadline for filmmakers to submit their films is Saturday, July 31, 2021.
Filmmakers experiencing financial hardships as a result of the pandmic can apply for a submission waiver to submit their film for without a submission fee by completeing the festival’s online Waiver Scholarship form.
Pending conditions with the COVID-19 pandemic, the North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival will take place in-person November 3- 5, 2021 at the historic Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo, North Dakota.
The mission of the North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival is to educate, engage, and facilitate discussion around local and worldwide human-rights topics through the work of filmmakers and artists. The festival is a non-partisan event, and all filmmakers are welcomed and encouraged to submit their works.
