The 6th North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival will open November 1, 2022, at the historic Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo, North Dakota. The festival has the pleasure of announcing that the Call for Submissions has begun, and the submission portal is now open.
The deadline for submissions is Saturday, April 20, on FilmFreeway. Early Bird submission rates are available through Monday, February 28. Regular submission rates end Thursday, March 31. The submission period ends with Late submissions at midnight on Saturday, April 30. Submission fees are waived for filmmakers from North Dakota and Minnesota. Filmmakers will be notified of the selection status of their film by Sunday, June 5, 2022.
The North Dakota Human Rights Film Festival educates, engages, and facilitates discussion around local and worldwide human-rights, civil rights, and social justice topics through the work of filmmakers and artists. The film festival encourages filmmakers from around the world who have produced documentary, narrative or experimental films that engage human rights related topics or themes to submit their work to the festival.
